Hiking Anywhere

I live in the city, and yet I still love to go hiking. A bit of an inherent contradiction I am aware, but Trails.commakes this outdoors activity extremely accessible for me. With over 30,000 trails spanning from The United States and Canada, Mexico, and The Caribbean, there will always be a scenic hike to go on, no matter where you live. The site does a great job in categorizing the types of trails to go on, be it for fishing, waterfalls, biking/hiking, or canoeing. And, as you click on a specific trail, you will receive route descriptions as well as driving directions and possible risks/conditions. No matter what your interests are, a trail is out there for you. Trails.com also does a great job in including various topographical maps and land maps, which also include satellite and aerial pictures. You have the ability to become familiar with the area before you even set foot on the trail! ![]()
