So then after you drop down about $8,000 to pay for the first semester of college, you then have to go to the bookstore in order to pay premium amounts for your textbooks. My guess is that one (or many) of your professors just so happened to write a book of their own, and they find that this is the most satisfactory text for their class. Sound about right? You can easily search the Amazon data base by using either the book title, author or ISBN number (you know the long code with dashes above the UPC?). OR if you are looking for a bit of extra cash, Amazon allows you to also put your textbooks up for adoption! You can save up to 30% off of brand new textbooks and up to 90% off of the used ones. I am willing to bet that your college/university bookstore is not going to be offering you that same deal. Check to Amazons list of new and used textbooks before the semester is to far under way.
