North Face Wasatch BXWhat could be better than watching the stars, and slowly drifting off to sleep under the open sky? Absolutely nothing. Even if you are not the “sporty” person who enjoys going on those long hard hiking trips, you can still be the romantic who enjoys counting all those beautiful shooting stars! Unfurl this sweet mummy in your backyard to easily gaze away in comfort and awe! The North Face Wasatch BX consists of 100% silky smooth taffeta polyester fabric, providing the perfect high thermal efficiency even on those cold nights. With temperatures dropping down to even 40°F (4°C), you will still be warm and snug due to the overlapping shingle construction of the bag. Designed for people up to 6′ 6″, this camouflage crocodile green/black (also offered in alkali blue/black) sleeping bag has easy-grab zippers making climate control comfort simple, and an adjustable hood to protect you from cold temperatures and nasty bugs. My favorite feature is the external zippered chest pocket, so I will be able to find my mini flashlight without searching around in the dark forever! Light weight and compact, The North Face Wasatch BX will stuff down to a handy 7″ x 13″ bag, and weighs only 2 lbs. 10 oz.. It is time to enjoy those beautiful night skies campers!

Hiking Anywhere

Trails.com     I live in the city, and yet I still love to go hiking. A bit of an inherent contradiction I am aware, but Trails.commakes this outdoors activity extremely accessible for me. With over 30,000 trails spanning from The United States and Canada, Mexico, and The Caribbean, there will always be a scenic hike to go on, no matter where you live. The site does a great job in categorizing the types of trails to go on, be it for fishing, waterfalls, biking/hiking, or canoeing. And, as you click on a specific trail, you will receive route descriptions as well as driving directions and possible risks/conditions. No matter what your interests are, a trail is out there for you. Trails.com also does a great job in including various topographical maps and land maps, which also include satellite and aerial pictures. You have the ability to become familiar with the area before you even set foot on the trail! :)
