For an ideal base layer or stand alone article of fall season apparel, there is not much better on the market then a piece of GoLite Clothing. Offered in both Men’s and women’s cuts, this particular Golite long sleeve shirt is sold in a multitude of colors and is meant specifically for active performance. Created from The Cocona fabric (polyester which is environmentally safe), the layers of cloth uses activated carbon from discarded coconut shells allowing it to have an SPF rating of +50. Because of its origins, this very special material will keep the user dry, and smell free regardless of how many times the clothing is used. This is thanks to the activated coconut carbon which will never wash out and actually helps to wick away moisture 50% faster than the leading polyester material. Washing instructions are pretty easy for GoLite Clothing. Basically just rinse under water or throw in the dryer in order to remove any type of dirt or sweat residue. Given the Green Gear of the Year Award in 2007, Golite cloth will keep you warm when it’s cool, cool when it’s warm, and smell free when you really need to be.
