Zune vs Ipod

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

zuneOk, so in the word of mp3 players two seem to have the most appeal. However, it may be the advertising that gives one a leg up in the portable audio race. Most people have heard of the Ipod, being that they are practically everywhere. With video capabilities, new touch screens, and up to 80 gigs of space, it is a fun, and lightweight mp3. And, maybe this simplicity is what gives it the charm that it has. The funny thing about The Zune is that although it is not as well known, it does have very distinct, and very different features. For the same price, (around 250$ for an 80 gig) the Zune may not have the touch screen, but it does have wi-fi, wireless file sharing, wireless sync, fm tuner, and pre loaded audio and video. While some people may want these extras in their mp3, some may only want it for the music library and other forms of file backup (such as pictures, etc). I have been personally satisfiesd with my IPod, If i was going to pay the same price, I say why not have some extras?
