BioShock XBOX Video Game

Monday, October 27th, 2008

If you haven’t played the Bioshock XBOX Video Game, you are really sleeping behind the wheel. In terms of playing a game (for console), Bioshock easily takes the lead with intense characters, crazy graphics, and an awesome storyline. Imagine your plane has just crashed into uncharted waters, you sink into what appears to be an aquatic biosphere, and soon find that the utopia that was once hoped for has quickly turned into mutated humans, corrupted leadership, and a slew of rotten corpses. Sounds like fun no? Generally hanging around a 17-18+ rating, Bioshock for Xbox is a great gift idea for the upcoming Christmas season, or could be used as just a an after hours stress reliever! PC Universe is actually selling many Xbox and PC games for all those people out there who just can’t seem to get enough of them, and is making available a $5 off coupon for all purchases at $50 or more. 1-2 games with certainly cover that price, just add the coupon code: welcome08 when prompted. This is coupon is for new costumers only, and will be in effect until Dec 31st.

Lego Batman Video Game

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Being that I love both super heroes and video games, I guess you can say I am “connected” with what is happening in the worlds of both. Recently I have found out that jail for the worlds most criminally insane, Arkham Asylum, has just broken loose and Gotham City is in all sorts of trouble. If there has ever been a way to clean up this problem, it is Lego Batman Video Game. With hilarious graphics, storyline, and characters (in typical lego game fashion), you can choose to be Batman, Robin, or up to 12 of the worst villains in super hero history in order to save Gotham. Offered in all platforms including Xbox 360 and soon PS3, Lego Batman will have you mastering new powers, moves, outfits, and vehicles such as the Batmobile, Batwing, and Batboat! For extreme game play, you are even able to customize your characters, build/transform the game environment, and find various collectibles for rewards. The Lego Batman video game can be played solo but has the ability for co-op play so that your sidekick can drop in and out at any time. The Lego Batman game is a great stress reliever and has all the facets of some good old fashion Lego fun.

Professional Video Gamers News

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

If you are a guy or gal who spends the majority of their time in a comfortable chair with your controller in hand, screaming or jumping about during a video game, then you are in luck. A bit of great Professional Video Gamers News, a recent study has found that gamers (targeted on EverQuest 2) have a self-purported height and weight that is on average 10% leaner than the current national weight conditions. This is a hilarious twist of events considering most consider gamers to be extremely over weight! This study conducted by the South California University also has findings that show women actually spend more time at the controls then men do, even though men outnumber women gamers 4-1.  Who would have ever thought that a video game like EverQuest 2 could yield such important results? If you are a big fan of console or PC games, it is time to bask in the knowledge that perhaps the stereotype of a gamer will soon turn to a lean, mean, video game machine.

GameStop Downloadable PC Games

Monday, September 29th, 2008

Call me crazy but most of my free time (and not so free time) is spent playing video games. I really could care less that while other people are out shopping or “enjoying the nice weather” I am inside trying to take over planet after planet, in an attempt to dominate the entire universe. If you are like me and need games in your life fast, check out GameStop Downloadable PC Games. This is a great way for gamers to feed their need to play the newest and hottest games, all without having to drive to some over priced game store. Basically all you need to do is browse the GameStop selection of downloadable games (ex. Gears of War, Civilization, etc.), choose one, and get ready to play. GameStop in many cases even offers playable previews of these PC games so you know what you are getting into. They also offer a secured digital download and a small software package that will allow you to continue a download even after a connection has been lost. Granted, if you are downloading games at GameStop you will need a high speed Internet service. However if you are a true gamer, chances are solid that you already have that!
