Regardless of what party you are voting for (or voting against), there is no better way to show your Republican/Democratic colors than by wearing a 2008 Presidential T-shirt. Offered in a variety of styles and colors, these officially licensed t-shirts are 100% cotton, machine washable, and are ready to be shipped out within the next 24 hours! If Obama impressed you during the Democratic National Convention, don’t you think you should show some support by wearing an Obama For President T-shirt? In the same light, any person moved by John McCains speech during the RNC should be proudly wearing a John McCain 08’ T-Shirt in hopes to attract some new votes. Either way you look at it, this is going to be a very interesting election year as both candidates are highly qualified, and are facing an uphill task in the oval office. In order to show a little Democratic and Republican patriotism, Amazon is currently offering these 2008 Presidential T-shirts using different slogans, fabrics, and colors.

Between work, school, studying, errands, relationships, etc., how often do you actually get to sit at home and watch your favorite show? If you are like me, the occasions to recline and watch the tube have been coming fewer and farther between. The good news however, is that Amazon Videos on Demand are available to enjoy at any time. My particular favorite is the ability to watch HEROES (30 Rock s also available) anytime, anyplace, anywhere - as long as you have an updated Flash Player. Amazon is currently offering 1 of these t.v shows/videos on demand for absolutely free, as well as the option to sign up for the Amazon T.V Pass which includes a seasons worth of programming to choose from. This is perfect timing considering the new season of Heroes is just around the corner. Anyone who is looking to catch up on what had happened during season I or II might want to look to the Amazon videos on demand, this way you wont have to either buy the set in a store or have to take up hard drive space on a download.

I am a serious beer drinker. Don’t get me wrong; I still appreciate a nice glass of wine, or some type of premium hard liquor too. But, there is just something about a cold bottle of beer that just cannot be beaten by any other drink. Participating in the Monthly Micro Brew Club, I am able to taste some not so typical flavors from various parts of the country. If you are looking to try something new and exciting, the beers featured in this micro brew monthly club range from Montana to Maine and from lagers to ales. From 1 month memberships up to a full year, every shipment includes a 12 pack of 4 different varieties of beer as well as a copy of the newsletter Beer Expeditions. This magazine outlines the specific beers you receive, as well as their history, insights on future brews, and potential discounts off of upcoming memberships. This is a great idea to buy for yourself or as a gift for another, but keep in mind that you need to be 21 or older in order to participate in the Monthly Micro Brew Club!

If you are heading back to school, the first thing you are going to need (after shower shoes of course) is a clear computer monitor. Prices have been substantially dropping on flat panel monitors, and between Labor Day sales and back to school time, this is really the time to buy. The Acer Flat Panel 19” Monitor will soon be available through Best Buy at a great price of $159.99 after rebate. Perfect for graphic designers or the avid movie watcher, this Acer computer monitor is thin enough to be mounted on the wall, and has a terrific 2000:1 contrast ratio for a fantastic display. The 19” wide screen flat panel also has a 1440 x 900 maximum resolution at 75Hz, meaning you will be getting an extremely clear and detailed image regardless of the colors on screen. Personally I am excited about this particular Acer monitor because it is both PC and Mac compatible, and it has a 5 ms response time to discourage any blurriness or streaking during a fast action movie, sporting event, or video game. Keep a look out at Bestbuy.com for this Acer 19” Widescreen Monitor as it is coming soon, but will assuredly sell out fast.

O.K, I know you are thinking that it is still the summer, and that Halloween Costumes won’t need to be purchased for a while. To that I say, WRONG. People lets face facts, the summer is unfortunately over so hopefully you spent it wisely. But, even if you just sat around all day wishing you were on vacation, one of the years best parties is still to come. The time to prepare for the festivities is right now with discounted Halloween costumes and wigs. I am talking about various types of Halloween capes, wigs for adults (along with other mischievous and sexy adult costumes), Halloween Makeup Kits, jewelery, and more. It won’t matter if you need a Pirate costume, a Batman costume, clown makeup, or festive Halloween decorations. The time to grab them is now! You don’t want to be “that guy/girl” who is scrambling last minute for a good Halloween costume and then have to wear something really lame to the party. Look to Halloweenmart early to get the best in man’s, woman’s, and children’s Halloween costumes and accessories.

With all the GPS systems on the market, it is hard to differentiate between which product is the best for the buck, which may have the most options you are looking for, which is the sleekest, etc. Personally, I like the Magellan Maestro 3200 because it is extremely compact and easy to use. Nothing beats a highly intuitive interface with a crystal clear 3.5” QVGA color touch-screen display. The Magellan offers maps to cover the continental U.S as well as Puerto Rico and Hawaii and does so with either a 3-D birds eye view, standard map view, or turn by turn instructions. Clearly you may know where you want to go, but may not be able to spell it. This is really no problem considering the included QuickSpell technology which checks/corrects spellings of addresses and locations. The Maestro 3000 will also automatically adjust the back light brightness depending on the time of day, as well as give you 3 hours of run time when not plugged in. With various mounting accessories, computer software, and power adapter included, this is a great package for any person who needs an easy to use GPS for all multiple traveling needs.

If you are an avid T.V watcher, but don’t always have access to the tube, it might be time to start thinking about a Slingbox Pro. As the newest addition to the Slingbox family, the Pro version will allow you to stream programming and watch on up to 3 standard definition, and 1 HD video devices. This stream will allow you to watch your favorite shows on any computer or compatible mobile device around the globe with a 400% video quality improvement over the original version. Using the Pro version, you are able to watch and control your home T.V, DVR, satellite, or digital cable (including “On Demand”), security cameras, and more through the availability of any network. One of the great features about the Slingbox Pro is that streaming video will not “stutter” depending on the speed of your internet connection. Regardless of dial-up, or high speed cable/DSL the Slingbox will be able to reconfigure itself in order to find the best compression/resolution for optimal playback. Included in the box is the Pro version, all the cables and adapters necessary, a Sling Player CD ROM, and an instruction manual for the technology challenged. This is a great way for people to access to their favorite shows no matter where they are, or who they are stuck being with!

Surprise, surprise, the hardest game console to buy is still the Nintendo Wii. It seems like this elusive gaming device sells out of stores even before the store itself is able to carry them. Go figure that one out! Clearly the best way to buy a Wii is not through the stores, and there is not much of a guarantee for those that happen to fall off a back of a truck. The only place that consistently has the Nintendo Wii is good ol’ Ebay. These systems are always coming in great shape and normally with 2 controllers and video games. Some packages even included Wii Fit and the Mario Kart Bundle (as well as a multitude of other games), so you won’t even have to rush out to buy a new game once you get it delivered. Plus, many of the Wii’s come guaranteed new and include over a year long warranty. If you are a big fan of the Wii and are looking to actually own one instead of wishing you had one, check out Ebay’s huge supply! Just as an added little bonus, if you are unfamiliar with the ways of Ebay, get ready to enjoy purchasing an online item with FREE shipping!

Unbelievably the original installment of the series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, has been enjoyed by millions of readers for a full decade. To celebrate its 10th year of publication in the U.S, J.K Rowling has decided to release a very special Harry Potter 10th anniversary Edition of the book! This hardback cover is illustrated by none other than legendary Mary Grandpré whose work has graced us throughout the entire Harry Potter Series. Instead of Harry being whisked through the air on his broom, this cover depicts a much more emotional side as he is looking into the Mirror of Erised, and seeing his parent’s reflection stare back. Alongside of new cover art, Grandpré and Rowling have included an exclusive four-color frontispiece to truly celebrate the momentous occasion. This 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition can actually be purchased with The Tales of Beedle the Bard for one great low price! The new Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a perfect gift idea for anyone who truly loves Harry and the entire series.

To no one’s surprise, Yang Wei has realized the gold late last night (around 1:30 EST) in Men’s All-Around Gymnastics for China. Bringing the country to the top of the leader board in both overall medals (35) and gold medals (22), Wei scored an impressive 94.575 points in a multitude of events beating out Silver Medalist Uchimura Kohei of Japan by over 2.5 points. Rounding up for Bronze was 28 year old Benoit Caranobe of France, who was the first since 1920 to bring home a medal in an All-Around event. Wei, known prior as the “silver collector”, ranked Silver in this event during the 2000 Sydney Olympics against Alexei Nemov, as well as a second place score against Paul Hamm during the 2003 World Championships. Needless to say, this was an impressively solid win by Wei, which is easily going to elevate him to one of China’s most brilliant All-Around Gymnasts. With complete command over a variety of difficult skills ranging from floor exercise, parallel bars, rings, pommel horse, high bar, and vault, Wei was able to bring a second Men’s Over-All gold to china since Li Xiashuang in the 1996 Atlanta games.
