As someone who has recently moved and has no phone, cable, or Internet (no T.V either), I have been shopping around for the lowest cable rate possible. I figure why should I jump into a subscription only to find a cheaper one elsewhere? I must admit however, the best rate I have currently found is the Comcast Triple Play Advantage. This package is ideal for anyone who has just moved/wants to change their cable provider, as the “Triple Play” is one low monthly payment for great services. You will be receiving Comcast high speed Internet, Digital Cable, and Digital Voice with cash back rewards up to $325! The Comcast Triple Play also includes all the hardware (cable modem, wireless router etc) for absolutely no cost, this way you are up and running at no additional fees. Comcast offers a Starter, Preferred Plus, and Premier Subscriptions, each offering additional services and abilities at one low cost. From plans as low as $99.99 a month, The Triple Play Advantage can be installed at your current or future home (just check the Comcast schedule of installers)!

As technology is advancing at such a rapid rate, it has become increasingly more difficult to understand what you are buying, how long it will last (before it is obsolete), and what specific terms you should be looking for. If you are in the market for a new computer (as many back to school students are) but are unsure of what or how to buy, look to the Amazon Laptop Computers buyers guide for help. Highly informative, Amazon wants you to be aware of what’s “Under the Hood” of a computer before you buy one and so they offer very simple buying tips regarding terms and pieces of hardware that are highly important to a fast, simple to use machine. Do you know why a RAM or processing speed is important, or how good of a graphics card you will need for your specific purposes? These tech specs are constantly being thrown at you but if you do not understand the importance or function, there is a good chance you will not be buying what you want or need. The Amazon tech center has this easy to read guide concerning laptop computers, and it will help you on your way to a highly functional, highly affordable notebook pc through Amazon.com.

The prices of high quality digital cameras have gone down considerably over the last year. The Samsung L200 Digital Camera for example, takes 10.2-megapixel pictures for extreme clarity (enough for any print/banner needs) and a mile long list of exceptional features, all at a very affordable price. This particular model includes a 3x optical zoom (that zooms in without reducing image quality), optimized focus face detection, and various scene modes that will automatically adjust shutter speed and flash for the perfect shot. Personally I like the Samsung L200 because it also includes an increased image stabilizer for people who have a hard time taking a straight shot, and pre installed 10MB of internal memory with memory slot for the addition of more. The Samsung L200 camera has a 2.5” display (with easy navigation wheel) making it extremely simple to focus, shoot off, and slide through your picture files. With a lightweight sleek design, this digital camera is currently being sold for only $129.99 while supplies last.

I am a gamer through and through, and yet I still sometimes have a hard time wrapping my brain around how video games have become so authentic looking and engaging. Especially in terms of action/war games like the new Call of Duty World at War, how insane will intense fighting scenes of WWII be when you are playing the Nintendo Wii? The new Call of Duty for the Wii allows you to choose to be either a U.S Marine or a Russian soldier towards the end of war, and plunges you from places like war devastated Berlin, to the dense jungles of the Pacific. With unprecedented graphics and character awareness, you will need to use various weapons such as flamethrowers, grenades, vehicle based weapons, and of course your rifle, in order to rid the world of the last remaining enemy infantry. Call of Duty: World At War can be played in single mission version or in 2-player co-op mode and is available in all major gaming consoles. If you pre-order your copy of Call of Duty through Best Buy, you will be able to receive a special bonus package and a coupon for $5 dollars off any previously released Call of Duty video game.

How many times have I heard that Spore “is predicted to come out next month”, only to wait in vain, and then wait some more, and then some more? I swear this video game has been pushed back for what seems like well over a year but the good news is that the Spore Video Game Release has happened! Designed by the same makers of The Sims, Spore is a game intended to allow the user to journey through evolutionary process over the far reaches of space. With millions of planets full of users creations, you will be able to interact, battle, and take over various galactic civilizations! As the user, you can chose to play within the 5 evolutionary phases of Spore, (cell, creature, tribe, civilization, and space) and the object is to see how advanced you are able to make your creation. Sorry to all you console gamers out there, but Spore is currently for Microsoft and Mac users only! Just be sure to have the appropriate system requirements and Internet hookup in order to enjoy full game play.

Sitting at 20 x 21 inches with a back at 23.5 x 21 inches, this chair is extremely comfortable for people of all sizes and it even has a tilt lock for added safety and quality. Between work, school, studying, errands, relationships, etc., how often do you actually get to sit at home and watch your favorite show? If you are like me, the occasions to recline and watch the tube have been coming fewer and farther between. The good news however, is that Amazon Videos on Demand are available to enjoy at any time. My particular favorite is the ability to watch HEROES (30 Rock s also available) anytime, anyplace, anywhere - as long as you have an updated Flash Player. Amazon is currently offering 1 of these t.v shows/videos on demand for absolutely free, as well as the option to sign up for the Amazon T.V Pass which includes a seasons worth of programming to choose from. This is perfect timing considering the new season of Heroes is just around the corner. Anyone who is looking to catch up on what had happened during season I or II might want to look to the Amazon videos on demand, this way you wont have to either buy the set in a store or have to take up hard drive space on a download.

If you are heading back to school, the first thing you are going to need (after shower shoes of course) is a clear computer monitor. Prices have been substantially dropping on flat panel monitors, and between Labor Day sales and back to school time, this is really the time to buy. The Acer Flat Panel 19” Monitor will soon be available through Best Buy at a great price of $159.99 after rebate. Perfect for graphic designers or the avid movie watcher, this Acer computer monitor is thin enough to be mounted on the wall, and has a terrific 2000:1 contrast ratio for a fantastic display. The 19” wide screen flat panel also has a 1440 x 900 maximum resolution at 75Hz, meaning you will be getting an extremely clear and detailed image regardless of the colors on screen. Personally I am excited about this particular Acer monitor because it is both PC and Mac compatible, and it has a 5 ms response time to discourage any blurriness or streaking during a fast action movie, sporting event, or video game. Keep a look out at Bestbuy.com for this Acer 19” Widescreen Monitor as it is coming soon, but will assuredly sell out fast.

Fall weather is coming along with a season full of good old fashion football. Wether you are in a league of touch, tackle, flag, or folly football, the Men’s Nike Air Zoom Football Cleat will ensure you get the traction and support when and where you need it the most. This is truly an ideal football cleat for the athlete who is having a problem gaining control when his turbo jets are on. The Zoom Air creates a highly reactive cushion for impact control, while the TPU spikes grip the ground for on the dime cuts and jukes. This specific Nike football cleat also uses a traditional lacing system which promotes stability throughout the entire foot and ankle. It is shocking how stable Nike makes the Air Zoom, considering it is constructed of a super light weight (and super durable) synthetic material. With 9 spikes, a highly breathable outsole, and a removable ankle support strap, the Nike Air Zoom Football cleat is an ideal piece of football apparel for any athlete playing this season.

Data is not a stationary object. In fact, students today are especially in need of mobile devices which will carry their important documents, tunes, and pictures all over campus. Why bother with cumbersome folders and portfolios when you can store all data on a 8 GB Kingston Data Traveler. This ideal solution is about the size of a pen knife and only .08 oz. You would think something this small and light would be susceptible to breaking however the Kingston flash drive is backed by a nice 5 year warranty and the connector is retractable, so there is not even a worry about loosing/breaking the cap. The 8 GB data traveler is compatible with both old and new Mac and Windows operating systems, and the USB 2.0 connection is backwards compatible for older computers as well. The flash memory can easily formated to encrypt sensitive data, and it utilizes a rear bar in order to be attatched to a lanyard or keychain. Overall, the Kingston data traveler is a high yielding memory tool which will give the same performance of pricier flash drives of the same kind.
8 GB Kingston Flash Drives are available at a great many online locations. Check these stores for the most discounted price.
