Apple 3G iPhone
Set to be sold on shelves no later than this July, the much awaited Apple 3G iPhone is finally going to make its presence felt. With its most basic and easy to understand modification, the new generation iPhone will start at with an 8GB model at a very affordable $199 and go to only $299 for a 16GB. Needless to say, this is not the only upgrade Apple has infused into the touch screen phone. The 3G also will use HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) which means you will be able to use multiple applications at faster, and do so without limiting your talk time. The grand stand however, comes with the new iPhone 2.0 software. A free software update via iTunes 7.7 (or later) on July 11th, the 2.0 package will allow a greater variety of productivity tools (i.e a doc viewer for iWork and Microsoft Office, games, and more) to be launched and updated. This proprietary software will also work with MobileMe to allow for over-the-air push email, contact and calendar syncing, as well as improved features for the QWERTY keyboard. This means you will never have to plug in your contact info more than once! With slight modifications to the size, the new Apple 3G iPhone will actually be a bit lighter than the original, and now even comes with a flush headphone jack for easy mp3 listening. With many other ways to make life simple, the new 3G will be fusing technology and easy touch button navigation, and all at a great new low price.
