Auntie Anne’s

What is more satisfying than a warm, delicious Auntie Anne’s pretzel? The answer is nothing. Since its creation in the late 80’s, Auntie Anne’s has been my number 1 pit stop to satisfy even my worst of hunger strikes. Personally, I am a sucker for the garlic and jalapeƱo pretzel (after all, I need to keep those NY vampires away) and if i am in a crazy mood i might even go for a Glazin raisin. I am not even at all sure if it is possible to walk by a store and not be taken by the smell of fresh dough, butter, and whatever other ingredients (most likely donated by wizards) are used to put me in a trance. Now you may be thinking, “hey what does this guy know of pretzels anyway?”. To answer all the critics, my credentials include being a Philly native (where cheesesteaks, pizza, and PRETZELS are law), and moving to New York where it seems all foods go to get fashionably gourmet. The fact is, I have had a very lengthy stay in the pretzel community and yet when it comes down to it, Auntie Anne’s is one of the best. At this point I have to be a slob about it and eat 2 or more at a time…… Anyone want to challenge me to a Auntie Anne’s eating contest?
